Annually some positions on the NYSW Board of Directors are up for election.  This year per the by-laws, the position of President, 2nd Vice President, and Secretary are due.  These are two year terms.   Nominations are now being accepted.  Nominations should be sent to Commissioner Roger Best.  This should include a resume and cover letter stating the candidates qualifications and reason(s) for interest in the position.

In addition, Treasurer, Brian Lang has announced to the Board that he is retiring from the board after the November AGM.  The board is looking for a qualified candidate that would be appointed to fill the remainder of Brian's term.

Also, on odd numbered years the distirct commissioner in our odd numbered districts (Buffalo-100, Syracuse-300, Southern Tier-500) are due for election.  Elections for these positions are held within each of the respective districts.  Contact your district commisioner for more information.
