Aaron Bonser

CARSON, Calif. - Syracuse freshman soccer player Aaron Bonser was named to the adidas All-Star Team at the 2004 Interregional held at the Home Depot Center last month. Bonser was one of 19 players chosen to the squad.

Bonser was a member of the 84/85 NYSW ODP squad and played for the Region 1 Olympic Development Program team that competed in the tournament. The competition consisted of teams that represented four regions of the United States, the U.S. U-20 national team and the U.S. U-18 national team.

A native of Fairport, N.Y., Bonser was the only player from the Empire State on the all-star team. The rookie defender played in 15 games for the Orangemen last season.
